Shotts, do you seriously think your 100 will be tooling around in 25 years? If nothing else, the scarcity of fuel will will be the end of it, and all of these trucks. I for one, am quite curious to see how long the complex electronic computer controls will last. My guess is that all of the late model trucks starting with the 80 series will get rapidly to the point where the electronics can no longer be fixed. I do hope that Toyota has a nice stash of ECUs for the future.

I cannot disagree with your statement about the electronics of the vehicle. It is a something to think about.
About shotts....It just amazes me that EVERYTHING he says is always met with such distain that it ruins the threads. It is not his comments that ruin the threads...but people always just attacking him for things he as said in past. I don't know his past, and I am not asking.
Is it possible to have a thread without all the insulting? I am just wondering......
