Steve,
Your inverter is rated at 3,000 watts continuous power, which means it draws almost 300 amps (!) continuously at full power. (3000W / 12V / 0.85 efficiency factor = 294A) Even with two group 31's your batteries won't last very long. And the alternator in your LX 450 won't come close to producing 300 amps. This is a monster inverter. On the plus side, it's a high-quality "pure sine wave" inverter and so, as Robmir says, will power any type of quality electronics. So I think you need to buy a high-end accessory for your rig, say something like an audiophile-quality surround-sound "truck" theater system.
