On the RP
I was at a truck show this weekend and stumbled onto a Royal Purple booth. I started talking to the guy, and man did he like to talk. He explained why Toyota picked them to for their dealership parts stores. Evidently it went back from all their work on aircraft, nascar, indy and dragster engines. There were a lot more but I forgot. He also stressed that it is a true sythetic not a mix. Said most moble 1's are true, but some are mixes his point was to make sure. He didn't knock any of them, and said M1 was very good...but obv more expensive. best guess is you are helping pay for their advertisements?!!?
THE most interesting part of his spill didn't have to do with RP, but with "TRUFILTER". Have you guys heard of these, and are they any good? Its the filter they plug, and its a one time cleanable filter. Take if off and clean it whenever you want. He also said the filter goes with you on each car purchase. Call trufilter up and let them know what you bought and they will send you the new seal that fits your new vehicle. Any thoughts?
