Regardless of his current popularity, the world is, and I'm not being racist or anything, is not ready for a black president. Nor was it ready for a female president (Hilliary has officially dropped out, her campaign admitted it's over) Mccain, will win, no doubt about it. Obama has personally pissed me off with his stupid comments like "Southern small towns rely on guns as a religion". He is THE most liberal person I have ever heard of\met. Last thing I remember hearing was "I believe people should be able to protect their family with a firearm, but they should not have a 15 round semi-automatic" What the hell does that mean? The bullet count now matters? Lets make all guns have one bullet? This guy has the POSSIBILITY of making the world a "better" place, but taking the guns away from the people that are using them for the right things (people who actually take the time to get a license to carry and own) is moronic. We don't need to worry about those people, we need to worry about the people who DON'T take the time and get the weapons illegally. If we get to the point where citizens\civilians of the U.S. are not allowed to have a firearm, or are limited drastically to what we can have, then we have lost. 2nd amendment is not made to be changed, or twisted, or eliminated, but that is what is happening, and has been. Obama will ruin it in my opinon.
He's proposing restricting gun purchases to one weapon a month and banning the sale of firearms at gun shows except for "antique" weapons. Obama is also proposing increasing the licensing fee to obtain a federal firearms license.
Obama is requiring that all people working at a gun dealer undergo a criminal background check. He's also asking that gun manufacturers be required to develop safety measures that permit only the original owner of the firearm to operate the weapon purchased.
Additionally, he wants an increase of the funds for schools to teach anger management skills for youth between the ages of 5-13. Obama is also seeking to increase the federal taxes by 500 percent on the sale of firearm, ammunition [sic] -- weapons he says are most commonly used in firearm deaths.
Either way, trust me, he will not win. If he does, he won't be in office very long. I can easily see someone taking this guy out, hasn't happened in awhile, but with someone threatening a amendment that so many people believe in and hold dearly, bad things are going to happen.
