As it warms up the idle comes up. When it gets to operating temperature it idles around 1,200 RPM and slowly climbs higher.
If you let it cool down, like overnight, it will start and idle at 600rpm again.

Adjust the idle speed to your preference. typically in th 500-700rpm range.
