Technically speaking, you would not want a heavy weapon, or heavy rounds. You would want a light weapon, with as many rounds as possible. If we are talking about zombies, .22 are light, accurate, and are known to ricochet in the brain...the last thing you want to be doing is carrying around a M60 .50 Caliber slugging along with a crowd of zombies slugging along after you. You want to be light and limber.
