I dident want alot of lift eaither, 3 inch was the lowest advertised so i went with that. Last school term i broke both my rear bump stops, i have to figure out a way to reconstruct those, but make them much stronger than stock. I am thinking about putting the rubber absorbers on the axle instead. Havent had much time to look into it.
I removed the engine and trans during my last work term. I was really close to scraping that runner. but i really am attached to it. I love them so much i bought a rust free one that is currently my daily driver. I love it. Its a 91, so its a little older than the one pictured. It took me and a friend one weekend to cut off the ifs shit and prepare the chassis for the solid axle. We hung the springs on a sunday before we came back to school. It was a blast.
I am enjoying myself at kettering, its a hard school however, but urban offroading makes it alot of fun. I really look forward to beating the hell out of this thing.
I found another toyota head up here, he lives with me over work term. He has an mr2 and i have 3 4runners and 1 LC at my house. I defintally will never go back to my jeep.
snap control arms??? damn, i really liked the way those bushings looked.........
