You're totally correct, value is based on perception, and recreational spending depends largely on petty cash available. I don't have $35k on hand of any kind, much less to spend on entertainment. For those that do, I can't really argue against it. The average man in India might be appalled that I spend $75 on a typical date in Vegas.

And I also have to agree with you that their work is very good. I don't know of anybody else that did reconditioning/modification work on LC's to the level of quality TLC does. If anybody knows of another, please let me know, I'm always open to learn.

And in an open marketplace, you can charge what your work is worth. If you can do something very rare and/or of excellent quality, then you can name a high price indeed.

However, it's still out of my range for now.
