out of curiosity, i called the GC folks and spoke to a very knowledgeable gear head fella, bottom line, it'll cost around 3 grand to get it done if they installed it for ya. they recommended the flat plate and getting a bigger fuel valve for an older Blazer diesel, bout 120 bucks, so higher flow valve. they asked if my rig had an electronic low pressure lift pump (that feeds the high pressure fuel pump), its a 1HDT motor, btw. not sure yet. and suggested the 15G tank that measures 32x11x10inches, and voila cheap eco friendly fuel!
1200 for the kit, 120 for valve upgrade, 250 for flat plate heater (suggested), 300 for co-pilot, bout 1000 labour.....
okay to run with other engine mods like uppin the boost and a 3" exhaust, intercooler....
anyway, mucho dollars but well worth in the long long run.... got me thinking about value and stuff i need and want...would or should this go in place of a lift and bumpers/wheels? if money was an issue??? decisions....
