I remember a story about one guy who was so big they could not get him down the stairs in his apartment building after he died in his apartment. They hired a crane and took out one of the windows and lowered him down for transport. IIRC he was so huge that he would not fit into a casket and they buried him in a piano crate... that might be a myth but I am pretty sure about the crane thing.
