I do my mega burgers a bit different. I make a 1/2lb to 3/4lb patty of beef. Grill it till just past pink. Melt 8 year old sharp cheddar on it at the end of grilling. Stick it on a large slice of bread. Add BBQ sauce, lettuce, 1/2 medium tomato sliced, and finally top with another large slice of bread. I can get my mouth around mine.
