I posted in the ad that I was willing to go 12 hours away to get it. I figured that could be reasonably be done in a weekend. SO the seller in Mississippi was reluctant to PM me, since he was more than 12 hours away, and was not in a huge hurry to sell. (He wasn't actively advertising it or anything)
I'm glad he did though. For the price I'm getting it with all the farkle it comes with, I'm doing pretty good, the long-distance notwithstanding.
Having the extended TUT network with someone who was somewhat close and willing to help out, as well as some other fortunate circumstances on the seller's side of things conspired to make the deal work out slicker than greased owl shit.
It happened way faster than I anticipated, too. Honestly, I was not expecting it to pop so soon. I was hunkering down and preparing to wait months to find the right bike in the right place at the right time.
