I went to a small glass pack style resonator...and then finally eliminated it all together by having my muffler guy run the exhaust straight from the muffler to up under the bumper. Totally protected and have a nice V8 sound to it too! And it's not loud at all...just a bit more than the stock (quiet) exhaust.

You exhaust sounds like a very good idea..Got any pix of it ? This is getting a bit of topic but I would be interested in seeing what others have done, as far as mod go, to their exhast systems. Maybe a new thread idea ??
