Yeah, that's why I used 3, but mine didn't bend quite that bad. And with the shock in a vise pointed in a safe direction, it really isn't that bad. If you do it, just a little at a time. I've compressed way more than my share, and so far, no problems.

Sounds good. I need to do my gears now, so hopefully I can get it together and ready for some trips.
