so are we talking about AK-47s or ???

an AK-47 is a russian-made selective fire automatic weapon. I imagine an AK-47 will run you $5K or $10K and you'll need a bunch of class 3 paperwork to get one if you live in one of the lucky states (NV is one I guess).

all the other stuff, various semi-automatic crappy clones and all are just that...

Sorry, don't mean to be pedantic, but correct labeling is important. That's how they get to ban semi-automatic "assault weapons"... by making them sound like the real thing ...
