the rommies are bottom of the barrel, quality wise.
the typically have canted front sight blocks, canted gas blocks, the rear sights can be goofy.
they are the only imported ak at this time(the siaga's are not really an ak) all others are assembled here in the states.
to get around certian import laws they are assembled as single stack low magazine cap weapons. once they arrive here the clowns at century open the mag well up to use normal double stack ak mags.
they tend to go over board with the grinder, and over open the well. making for a sloppy mag fitment. they also do not clean the chips out of the receiver prior to shipping.
with that said, if you are handy with small hand tools, they are great ak's.
look at them as a fully assembled kit gun, that you need to fine tune.
with that said also, my rominain underfolder is one of my favorite pieces.
it, like a cruiser runs each and every time.
they are a true ak in the sense of the word, down and dirty but gets the job done.

the yugos are also century guns, but the build quality is much higher. never seen it siad, but i'm sure century does not build them themselves.
i have two yugos, one plain jane wood stock and one rpk version.

all three of mine came with the tapco g2 triggers....much better then the older guns.

if you can look a rommy over in person go for it, but if you're buying over the net, relying on somebody elses word. buy a yugo.

both yugos and rommies are right around the $500 mark depending on which version you get. anything more than that is just over kill for an ak.

there were very, very few russian semi auto aks brought over. they are pretty spendy to find. i've heard it was less than a few thousand that made it in.

no pics here but could post some once home.
