The most popular nowadays seem to be Yugoslavian and Romanian. I think both are drying up. I don't know why the Yugo's are but basically the Romanian factory is switching over to making Auto parts.

Anyway, I have shot many Romanian ak47s and they are simple and super reliable, kinda like cruisers. Its a pretty good entry ak, you can't go wrong with them.
