Has it been aligned yet, since you've completely changed the geometry now? What was the before and after measurements, it may have lifted more than the advertised 2.5". You didn't remove the lower ball joints during the install right?
Double check everything, and get the alignment, then go from there. The new angle of the front axle shafts pulls on the boots causing the grease loss. It can run like this for a while, but if the joint gets dry and some torque is added, then he'll need a new one.
