Then ask if it's mil spec type III anodized? Bolt and barrel MP and/or pressure tested? Is the gas key
properly staked? Does it have a NATO chamber or something "better"? Does it take a mil spec receiver extension? Barrel made out of mil spec chromoly-vanadium steel or 4140? "Match" trigger that will almost certainly break sooner or later? etc...
Believe it or not, there IS a reason certain brands cost more and are used by people who shoot for a living. Don't misunderstand - A "Brand X" AR-type rifle might be fine for what you want it for, but it is
not "as good as" a Colt or an LMT or a Noveske.
