It's the biggest bass that he's ever caught. He's going to have it mounted.
It came out of a large farm "pond", that produces large fish every year.
I would have turned it loose. It appeared to be a relatively young fish for it's size. He hadn't weighed it yet when I saw it, and I couldn't find my scales. Looked to be about 9 1/2 lbs./24" or so. Just a guess. He's a pretty tall kid. 6ft 2
