For my purposes I need to make a tank that is auxiliary to my main tank (FJ62). It will be aluminum so it can be used for veggie oil, and should hold near to the same amount of fuel as the primary tank.
My mounting idea was to try and put it underneath the primary tank, where the spare tire usually goes. If anybody has any other ideas, or reasons why it shouldn't go there, please say. As is normal, there is already loads of weight in the back... however in my case I have slightly upgraded rear leafs, but not front ones...
Mounting... my ideas are: bolt to frame, make mounts that bolt AROUND frame, or possible attach in the same manner as the spare tire was attached.
