Usually, from what I have seen so far and my own experience, things like removing the hood, lifting the head, etc. can be done in several different ways. It really depends on what tools/resources you have available. And how much can you improvise. Sounds like you have downloaded the tech bulletins in the same way I did. I had mine scattered all over the places. That's why I kinda created my own web gadget with whole bunch of links. There's a whole section that talks about the sequence of removing the head bolts. I forget the page number, some one else might chime in. But if you have downloaded every thing, you have the information of how to remove pretty much every thing. You can also do a search here, there are plenty of information here on that.
