1911's can be a lot like cruisers. Once you get one you can easily drop $$$ customizing them. I have several different versions, all which are fun. About 15 years ago I picked up a colt gold cup and a SA and sent them to Ed Brown for a partial and full conversion. I also ended up with a 40 cal STI customs out of Austin and recently bought a Kimber Raptor II in the short version for C. Carry. I love each one in a different way. You can have fun with a stock one, but they are even more fun to doll up.
