No updates yet, I haven't finished rebuilding the rig yet. I hope to have some updates in a month or so.
Another way to look at the sticky tires is that the increased traction would slip less, putting more force on the axles when they grab - potentially breaking more axle parts. I guess it depends on what your driving style is.
