I'd get a Bushmaster(and I have one) or a Rock River, both priced the same

prepan on a AR means little right now, the current AR's are all preban configuation, but AR's from the late 80's thru the early 2000's will be post ban and will be missing some of the pre ban features(bayo lug, etc). So just get a new one...

get a A3 version with removable carry handle, 16" barrel and the stock of your liking and your good to go

Preban on stuff like HK's, AK etc etc is a different story...
