What: Saturday February 9th, there is a day run to Bowman Lake (Site of the Winter Fun Fest's Blizzard Brigade near the town of Washington just outside Nevada City). This is a family run designed for all skill levels and rigs. We'll be driving until the more stock rigs start having trouble, and stop to do lunch there. After lunch, the more built rigs can go find out how far they can go, or how many times they can recover each other when they get stuck.

Who: The Cliffhangers are hosting it, and we have been invited to join them.

Where to meet: Petco in Vacaville at 7am with an anticipated departure time shortly after. We will make a brief pit stop in Auburn and then continue on to Grass Valley/Nevada City for gas and finally to the town of Washington. We should be airing down our tires at the bridge outside of Washington around 10am.


What to bring: Food will be supplied (Chili, Chicken, Hot Dogs, and Hamburgers), If you want to bring something to share that is up to you but not necessary as the club is providing allll the grub. My previous potluck statement was in error. If you have the room, a little bit of firewood would be appreciated. Make sure you have the usuals required for a run (strap, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, water, and warm clothes). In the past a $5 per person donation was requested. Bring some snow sleds, a throwing arm, a appetite and a smile. In the past we have started back down the hill around 3pm and usually arrive in Vacaville around 7pm or so.

They need a head count ahead of time to make sure they have enough food. Please give them the courtesy of notification at least a week in advance... the sooner the better.
