Curious about any concerns there may be with cleaning plastic guns with solvents such as Hoppes, or whatever.

I have a little Taurus Millennium with a plasic frame and metal slide.

I used Hoppes and cleaned up the metal and there is bound to be some solvent left in the cracks between the metal and plastic.

Will this hurt or weaken the plastic?

Are there special cleaners to use?

Has this been discussed before? This is my first plastic gun.
