If you got rust like I got rust, you need something a whole lot more aggressive than corn cob or walnut shell. I use the
Eastwood Green, with Simple Green for degreasing or phosphoric acid for rust removal. Rinse with hot water when done, but either oil 'em or use immediately because they'll be clean and flash rust.
When the media gets worn, it tends to lodge in the 6mm nuts though.
