I've got a 71 with a q-jet. Love it in the rocks....has been very reliable. My buddy found a retired mechanic here in the San Diego area that rebuilds old carbs on the side. You take it off your rig, give it to him and he rebuilds it and gets it back to you. If you don't want to tackle the rebuild yourself, PM me and I will get a hold of my buddy and try and get the guys info. The guy's rebuilt the carb off my buds '68 Ford F250 and his 1980 Dodge 440 powered motorhome. They both run well. Good luck!
