hey on another note, i am planning on a tach at some point. what is the best place for a pick-up? just a generic flywheel one or is there something else made for the isuzu engine?

also, as ive been driving it for a while now i still sometimes forget to shift low enough and think i can rev up more, but the governer kicks in and reminds me. its a much lower revving engine than the numbers on paper would have you think, i'm glad i went with the overdrive tranny. i remember when looking at these engines in the early days of my swap options i was thinking that since i cruise at 2500rpm on the highway i might be ok with my four speed, glad i didnt, just going by ear i would say i MIGHT hit 2500 rpm when the governer kicks in but i think its even lower.
