1. 1987 BJ 71
2. irrops
3. Victoria, BC
4. Canada. I believe that the vehicle was originally supposed to go to Dennison Mines but they didn't take delivery. The dealer in Mississauga sold it to my friend who kept it for a year before going to Hong Kong to become a merchant banker. When I first saw it in 1987 I told him that I wanted to buy it if he ever sold it. He still cant believe that I still have it 19 years later.
5. 342,000km.
6. Stock, not even a cup holder. Daily Driver. Radiator x2; rear seat core;5 sets of tires; 1 clutch; five hub overhauls; rear quarters restored x2; Otherwise clean. I pranged the RR quarter but ICBC paid for the restoration.
Photo to come. by far the best vehicle investment I have ever made. Every time I look for something to replace it I get disillusioned about what is available. There is no substitute.
