Quality ? for previous owners of 100 comparing the 200
How would you compare the build quality of the 200 versus the 100 series? I'm talkin fit and finish and long term durablity as well as low cost of ownership based on reliablity. I know the 200 is larger and has a bigger engine.

You own a LX with IMO has a very beautiful interior. The LC 200 has some funky interior plastics here and there. I wont comment on the durablility of these plastics, but they sure as heck look ugly as sin in the 200 series LC.

LC100 better than LC200
I have both a lc100 and a lc200. The 100 has been the best vehicle I have owned 208000 miles and still going strong. The 200, i'm a little disappointded with. The technolgy is great but gets in the way. I don't like having to listen all the warning buzers when headed off road. The gas mileage has become terrible with the AT tires. And after 25000 miles I have very annoying rattles and sqeaks that the 100 does not have after 200000.
I always felt that the 100 was the perfect size, however the interior could use a little upgrade. My 100 is a 99 so I have both the center and rear locking diffs, so off road she will go anywhere. The only improvement would be a few more ponies under the hood. or a turbo diesel option, Now that would have been the ultimate cruiser (A LC 100 with dual lockers and a Turbo Diesel )

The 200 is UGLY but well built and has amazing driving capability, still plastic bumpers. I dont think that the interior is particulary good looking but it is much more comfortable and roomy and they have made some of the weak parts of the 100 more durable. The drive hooks you,

So which one among your cruisers is the best? Does your 200 has the center and rear locking differentials like this one in the pic?

Ofcourse its not a US Land Cruiser. Its a Middle East LC. Since I'm Arabian, I would know our marketed vehicles since us Arabs prefer cassettes over CDs when going offroad, locking diff and KM/h speedometer.

What the heck is a "cassette"???
You'd think for offroading, an MP3 would work best.

I was a little disappointed in the interior of the LC. I felt like the last LC/LX interior "felt" nicer.
The LX570 interior is pimp tho. I actually see more 570's around than LC's in my area.
I do see more 200 series lately, which is cool. I have warmed to the styling. I think the LX looks a lot more expensive but I like the LC, looks "Cruiser"ish, like a upgraded 100.
I think the 200 will be really coveted because I just don't see the volume like prev gens so I think the secondary market will be very small.
Just saying... a little jealous!
