Did you spary it on or roll it somehow and how long did it take for setup before you were able to install? Years ago I had a Ranch Hand bumper on an Expedition and they sprayed it for me. It definitely made it easy to maintain.

They prepped and sprayed one day, then did the install the next. Like you I had a ranch hand sprayed and it held up nicely. That one was colormatched while this one is not.

boat
Pulls the boat quite well. I have a boat motor trailer rig around 5000 lb or so and the LC pulls it with no problem at all. Gas mileage is not that great - 10mpg avg pulling the boat, motor, trailer with AC on in 90 degree weather with truck loaded with gear, family and dog at 70mph last weekend but very pleased with the power overall.
No issues at all towing.

What rear bumper is that??? Custom?
And he doesn't have sliders -- on rock. That's pretty ballsy in the 200. Are those reinforced rockers or something to protect the doors?

Yeah, he lined it himself and had the bumper custom fabricated from what I remember.
I was following him in my 100. He did really well for his first time out at Katemcy.

I must be the only that thinks it looks terrible. Why would you do that to ANY vehicle, let alone a brand new Cruiser?

You're not. I think it is stupid. Why not wait until the paint gets destroyed, and then do it?

The bed liner coated 200 is cool. Granted I don't know if that was the best liner to choose for this application, I have seen Heeps that were sprayed with Line-X and the finish looked alot smoother.
It may not be the prettiest paint job but you have to consider the perks:
It doesn't chip, fade, scratch, need waxing, crack, you can use a pressure washer on it, and he will never have to worry about repainting it or the body rusting.
In my opinion, the perks far out weigh the rougher finish......assuming you offroad and get lots of pinstriping from branches on a regular paint job.

or you could just do it like ten years from now when your actual paint job that you paid like ten thousand dollars for needs to be repaired

i lined my 80 series.... and absolutely love it! Turned it into zero maintenance and i can hit any trail no matter how tight the brush is without worries....... but this was after i had huge scratches in my paint and it was looking like crap.
Just sayin'

Congrats on your new lc. I need to add pics of my rig before it's altered. The Trd rims look too small on the 200 lc. Stick with stocks and put some toyo a / t o or nitro terra grappler. Same company though.

Agreed.....I am waiting for the weather to get under 110 degrees before I go out again. IT gets so damn hot, even with the AC going...... My 9 year old has issues with it
