I hope these guys win this year in Argentina. It appears they have switched to the new style BFG MT.

Does anyone have an inside connection with these guys and could get us more info on all the mods doen to the truck?

Anyone on here attending the race in Argentina?

Wow, thanks for the heads up!

I wonder what type of rims they are running...there are very few options out there for the LC200, and in 17" too.

Wish we could get the diesel model in North America, I would have totally opted for that in lieu of the gas guzzler I got sitting outside. It would have been nice to get old fish and chip oil and go for a cruise.

I like the 5 speed manual. The rims have been discussed many times before in the 100 series section. They are very lightweight.

Nice ...thanks for the link.

Weird, I was looking up the Araco variant of the dakar 100 earlier and was thinking about the 200 and if they will use it. Guess so! Crazy timing.

When is the race in 'tina?

Also, they had an issue with the 200 if you read through all the pages. Hopefully they have it worked out and the LC can keep the streak alive.

I believe the wheels are Volk Racing or Rays Wheels from Japan. The model that fits the 100 is the TE37. I am not sure on the 200 series. I will do some more research.

Thanks...I'm pretty sure that the bolt spacing and offset are the same on both vehicles...5 x 150 with 60mm offset.

Dakar: homepage

This should be interesting, there are 80s, 100s, 105s, FJ Cruisers, 120s and 200s all competing.

I know production class is very limited to change. They probably started with a 200 without kdss, if that is possible.

I did not see body lift as an allowed modification.

Could be right as some 200's do not have KDSS.
