Which one do you all like better?

TMJ Front Bumper:

ARB Front Bumper:

I wish one of them was power coated black!! I may have to get that on which ever I choose to get!

Thoughts? Opinions?

Go with the ARB, that would be my choice of the two. Definitely black powder coat.

It would be nice to see some other pics of the TJM. Don't think there are any out there, but that pic they used for the release is awful. I think the bad angle makes the bumper look too big.

Just my $.02

ARB and it will more than likely come in black powder coat.

Definitely the ARB. Get it powdercoated to match the gray color of you rig. The color match of the ARB in the pic looks great !!

ARB is really nice- way better than the TJM imo but I would wait to see if something else comes up. Talk to Christo about it.

Already talked to Christo, he says there is not anyway he is going to come out with a rear bumper (production model) for at least another 8-12 months.

The rear he made before was complete custom and he would need the vehicle for about 2-3 months.

For a front he said he is not going to even chance it and just to wait for ARB or TJM to come out with one, which seems to already happened.

So there is the whole story.

You might look at the company Armorology.com.
They build very nice custom front and rear bumpers down in Colorado Springs.

I looked up Viper high and low and found zero, as far as bumpers go. If you look to the left of the bumper there seems to be something etched that looks something like "Panama" ?? That's the best I could tell from the pix. That ARB is damn good looking tho !!

Viper rocks! We should all try and source that one, and possibly a group buy. I'm in for a powdercoated black.

Kofia,
The TJM steel bars come standard in black powdercoat. The bumpercut lines on the TJM are far more appealing and easier for installation then the ARB bar. i've fitted quite a few of both and still prefer the TJM alloy bar with the steel winch frame behind it.

On a side note, Kaymar will have a complete replacement rear bar out by the end of July 2008. Their over the bumber rear tyre carriers have been out for a month now and are great quality and accurate in the fitup.
The Kaymar complete replacement rear bar will require your rear bumper to be cut, the same as the install of your bullbar. Choose once, because I reckon a replacement rear bumper from Toyota would be a very painful price.

hope this helps
