Flip the door struts on the swing out tire carrier and jerry can basket. Road filth is is gonna collect back there like a mofo, especially when it rains or subjected to a northeast winter. Having the piston up hill is gonna cause that grime to accumulate at the base of the piston, pushing it into the body every time you you swing them out. That will accelerate wear at the seal and lead to possible premature failure. Turn the body uphill, not so much...
I will see what they are like when the customer returns from Alaska. We are also looking at ones with covers over the shaft. Might change to those if these turn out not to last.

Yes. Very good work. Very nice looking. IF I had bought a 200 and wanted expo-travel or light wheeling that bumper would do wonderfully.

The reason my post sounded the way it did? The type of wheeling I do. That 200 bumper is HUGE. For me, I'd need to do anything I could (if even possible) to get it down-sized like his 100 and 80 bumpers. The 200 DOES need the help.

I begged Slee the same way when he began planning his 100 rear. I said AGRESSIVE AGGRESSIVE.....like the 80. He said, "ya but it has to look good too because of the truck's design". I said, I aggree BUT....AGGRESSIVE...AGGRESSIVE. We got a good looking aggressive bumper for the 100. That's why I asked about the 200's final disign.
I havent posted in months...kinda over the whole thing. But I just can't help myself here. Shotts...you are without a doubt the the biggest idiot on MUD. Have you no life besides making an ass of yourself on these damn forums?? Does it register to you that nobody wants, needs or repects your opinion? You wouldn't know a difficult trail if it bit you in the ass. Please come out west (I know youv'e been invited) and drag that whale you call a wheeling rig through Rubicon & Fordyce in the same week. Then our ears might perk up when you talk about "aggressive" wheeling. BTW, nice job of taking any credit at all for anything Christo has ever come up with.

Christo...Nice work on the 2hundy...I hated them until now.

Oh ya, Shotts...don't bother with the negative attention come-back that I know is brewing in that empty skull of yours....I won't bother checking for your relpy. See you in 6 months...I know if I come back then I'll still find you making an ass of yourself

Man! I can't imagine! I would have passed on the 37's and slapped the 39 Krawlers on the other rims. WOW!

I love how Shotts calls all these types of posts hilarious. Either he really has no clue, or is much more stupid than we all thought.

I guess it really is like talking to a brick wall...

(it's all good clean fun...)

I think the rude "jokes" if jokes at all that you think you can insult John with are far out of line. I don't remember him calling anyone an idiot. Everybody has a right for an opinion and you can't call a man stupid. This is a discussion forum not a word fighting championship. For me personally its really hard to get technical information reading through all the sarcasm and fights here.

My apologies to the newbie. Read the forum a little more for enlightenment. And not just the 200 section.

And don't be so naive, Shotts does plenty to insult people around here, especially our intelligence. He also likes to pass off technically incorrect information as fact and NEVER ADMITS WHEN HE'S WRONG, and that SHOULD concern you, since you are so gung-ho on the technical value of this forum. That is probably what upsets most of the people on here about his posts.

edit: BTW, I never called him stupid. I said he's EITHER clueless OR stupid, so he could actually be just clueless, not stupid. Read it again... (haha, that actually WAS a joke, since you seem to need an explanation...).

And, FYI, most (though not all) of this is said tongue in cheek. Again, read a little more and find out the history before commenting...

All noted. Thanks.

I am not going to interfere anymore in this kind of conversation. If I really wanted to flood the forum with non-technical argument I would go some place else.

Thanks for your input. No worries here though. I have really thick skin and these guys don't bother me a bit.

They reveal themselves to others via their intense and personal attacks. I must be related to Bill O'Reilly.
