Wow, now he's taking credit for Christo's designs... It just keeps on piling up higher and higher...

I just can't let stupidity pass by without making a comment on it! Yes, a fault of mine, I guess...
Considering all the flak you get on every forum around here, and the fact that you have your own smiley, I'd take a look in the mirror once in a while...

One thing that I'm not too crazy about is that ugly silencer/tail pipe. Seems like something could be done to make much less obvious. Maybe just painting it with some high temp flat back paint would do the trick. Other than that, it looks baaad azzz !!!

Agreed...I noticed that too. I smashed my resonator on my 100, which I believe is what we are seeing hanging down at the bumper, within a few months of off-roading it. I went to a small glass pack style resonator...and then finally eliminated it all together by having my muffler guy run the exhaust straight from the muffler to up under the bumper. Totally protected and have a nice V8 sound to it too! And it's not loud at all...just a bit more than the stock (quiet) exhaust.

| Slee has said in every thread that it is an early prototype bumper. Maybe he wants to keep the factory bits unmolested so owners can simply slap on the bumper w/o modification to the exhaust... or whatever reason...he is simply showing some development.
The bumper & sliders & mods transforms the stance of the 200, it's pretty cool. Anxious to see the full meal deal w/ ARB front.
Derek, new forum/new readers get spread with b.s. but usually don't want that stink for very long. They soon figure out what is real what isn't.

This is getting a bit of topic but I would be interested in seeing what others have done, as far as mod go, to their exhast systems. Maybe a new thread idea ??

Tucked up nicely. Haven't touched it yet . Whereas I destroyed the OEM resonator and actually put a fairly good size dimple in the small glass pack that replaced it. This is the best solution for me...plus it sounds great IMO (not too loud...I don't like exhaust rumble...) and seems to flow better (subjective...take it for what's its worth).
Sorry for the hijack!

Anyway, when I put the 4x4 Labs bumper on my 80, it necessitated cutting off the resonator. I had no issues with it, but that may be because any increase in exhaust noise was drowned by the churning of those 35" mud tires!
Still, IMHO it is not a functional item, just something to help refine the drive. I don't believe there is any noticeable back pressure loss or gain by having it or not having it (though I could be wrong).

| The bumper doesn't look too big at all to me. I also noticed the factory rear parking sensors, nice touch! |

| My first look into the 200 forum and 2 things are always consistant on Mud:
1) Slee is on the leading edge. Awesome work guys. Your work is so impressive.
2) Schotts is still the biggest jackass I have ever web-met. |
