I have the 6sp manual, got it in August. I had an '83 FJ 60 for 6 years. The FJ Cruiser supasses my exectations on and off road. I have had it on difficult trails, in the sand & on the LA Freeways. It climbed Oldsmobile Hill at Glamis like a pro. Whether with all 4 wheels locked or the front on computer it has many options, expecially with the 6sp. Gone wheeling with my cousin, a life-long serious jeep off-roader and a proud owner of a Rubicon. He respects the FJ!
