I agree with Riley's assesment that substaintial liability exposure will be risked if the net, which is intended to restrain cargo, fails to restrain cargo in event of collision or rollover. Waivers are not a shield from lawsuit, and not losing a judgement does not mean not having to spend a boat load on legal fees.

If anybody wants a cargo net bad enough, it shouldn't be too much trouble to find a local canvas worker who will be glad to make one. Look in the phone book under awnings, boat covers, or canvas. They all have the equipment necessary to sew nylon webbing.
