Herb, if you pay close attention to the FJ60 bottle assembly pics that Poser posted, you will notice that where the hose goes into the bottle, it goes in via a tube that extends down into the bottle. The older units also had a tube, and the ones before that fed the coolant in from the bottom.
The point is that if your 'feed' either goes in from the bottom, or reaches down to the bottom, it will 'draw' back in to the radiator better, and will also help reduce blowby from the bottle.
