hmm.........your vent stuff must be brittle.........I have pulled a bunch of these.....I just yank em out from the front and pop em back in.....but I guess if you want to be safe.....take the dash off?

You do have to pull the front of the dash since the vent goes in from the back. Just carefullty remove screws and panels. The trim around the heat controls should come off first as I recall. Just make sure you don't put too much pressure on anything and break it. When it comes to the instrument panel the speedo cable has to be released.
It's really quite easy, just take your time and don't use force. |
