I have reading the 70 forum for months, but never posted before. I have two 1986 BJ70s (BJ71 per VIN and 1987 per titles) for inclusion in the registery. Their details are

Modifications include: ATX turbo, OME suspension, limited slip rear differential, custom built Bullbar & rear bumper, custom sliders are in-work
Daily Driver with some trail time

Oct 1986 BJ70

Stock setup without modifications
Restoration Project (long term plan) that the kids will get to drive some

Previously, I owned a 1985 BJ70 and it was a great truck. Last Christmas eve, it saved my daughter's life when a fool ran a stop light and plowed into the driver side door at ~50mph. She walked away with bruises; the truck sustained moderate damage, but the insurance company freaked out and totaled her. Luckily, I was able to locate these two 1986s to keep us driving 70s.
