He ended up reeling in a 10.5 lb bass.
After he put it in the well he rinsed off his hands and cast it out again and proceeded to take a bite out of his sandwich... he had to drop it to keep the rod from going overboard and when he got it in it was a 12 pounder. He put it in the well and cast out the worm again and picked up his sandwich and dusted it off. He stuck the sandwich in his mouth and bam the rod is headed for the canal again!
He finally got that bass in and it weighed 14! He still had the sandwich in his mouth when I said to him: 'If your not done with that SAMWICH, pass it over here! I still haven't gotten a bite.'
He had all three fish mounted and put them in his Florida room. He loves to tell the story, especially about how he is such a better fisherman than I am.

How did the Warden feel about him fishing in the brood pond?
