landfills must be full of 2lt engines and another one just got added to the heap...mine. after having the head replaced in may, the turbo decided it was his turn and delivered a piece of the impeller into #4 valve and cylinder/piston, delivering a virtual death blow to the 2lt. all my sinning has come back to haunt me. good riddance! not being a sucker for punishment (hmm.....i bought it, didn't i?), i don't want to replace it with another 2lt.

so, my question to you bigger techies than i is; what advice do you have regarding a replacement engine? it's a '90 prado and in beautiful shape and i already have a lot of coin invested, so i don't want to give up on her.
