For sure, common sense is always good.
Iv'e seen on the Hope Princenton Hwy, three times now, where a travel trailer pulled by a powerful pickup lossed it and flipped the trailer. Speed was the main cause of the accidents.
Had they less powerful towing vehichles they would have never gotten themselves in that situation in the first place.
The trailer accident in your link was caused by faulty equipment as far as I can see...
The landrover was actually a 109 not an 88, the legal towing capacity was 6 metric tons with a trailer equipped with air brakes.
