Tex, I took the huge honker out to the rig and held it above that opening in the back of the console.
It just clears the drivers armrest, but will not if you add the passenger one which I plan on.
It looks awfully tight.
Another good spot is right on the back of the console facing up.
The left rear seat will even fold down flat and clear it, however the passenger side rear seat if you fold it forward will hit the CB and not allow you to fold the seat flat.
Like bummer man.
A Cobra 25 would fit down into that hole for the console, the Cobra 29 is about 1/2" or so to wide.
The glovebox with the CB mounted to the front is looking like the best spot for it.
