OK, so due to taking care of the twins I have not been fishing for quite a while, 3 weeks. So I am digging a story up from the long past.
This happened while fishing the Swan river by my granparents place in Montana. I was making long quartering swings with a wedding band spinner, pre fly fishing days. It was my last spinner and town was quite a ways away so when I got a snag I went after it. Unfortunately, the usual summer storm blew in way faster than I expected. While I was waist deep in the water a lightning bolt struck a partially submerged tree across the river from me. Talk about a freaky feeling, like my skin was covered with a thousand black widows. All I can remember was not being able to hear anything as I ran at mach 2 back to the ranch. I go the other way when lighting starts to fly now.
That is all for now.
