Made it down to Corpus Christi this weekend. First time I actually caught a saltwater fish so at this point size didn't matter.
Fished a pier on the CC Naval Air Station with a couple Sailors.
Hooked a little catfish, a small 12" or so trout (really pretty fish), some little sunfish and a red stingray. The stingray was the hilight. Just a little dude but I was stoked and being in sandals one of the Navy guys helped me out with unhooking it without stinging myself.
