Adapter to use cordless drill for lug nuts

With all the on/off of the wheel lug nuts I've been doing lately (and considering I don't have any air tools), has anybody tried the use a cordless drill for whipping the wheel lug nuts off and on quickly and then torque by hand?

Loosening and torquing the nuts goes fairly fast but the job kinda drags on just having to spin those nuts off or on all the way. I was thinking that if someone made an adapter from a standard drill chuck size say 3/8" and then on the other end a standard 1/2" drive. It would make short work off changing tires.

Anybody seen something like this?
