Can I add factory NAV to a '99
I did a quick search, no luck.
Made an offer on a '99 with 154 on the clock.......BUT WOULD REALLY LIKE NAV.
$12,500 a little out of my budget but might make it work.
TIA
Shane

Why factory? There are plenty of aftermarket alternatives (and better and cheaper) available.
$12.5k is a little high for a '99.

Honestly, I like the look and easy for to use.
There is nothing in OR or WA that is cleeeeaaaaaan and 100% original with it's cherry intact.
I found a '99 in ID and a '00 in Seattle butt they want $17,500
I also want silver, white or other light colors.

AATLAS1X,
I will trade you my 2002 NAV for your factory set-up ... It still works. I would rather not have all the digital controls for everything.

yup. worst time to be looking. I (insert number here) the idea of going with an aftermarket setup. They're really simple these days, heck I think Liam has one for sale out of his truck he flipped. I dont usually like factory systems as they somehow lack that, flow i guess you could say. My Kenwood in-dash nav system works well, aside from it being the older generation with a nav module and not completely built in.

If it ever goes out on you, factory nav is $2500 for a refurb and $5k new!
I hope mine goes before my platinum warranty does!!

Speaking of NAV, anyone know anything about getting rid of the NAV system altogether and replacing with normal radio and ac/heater controls?? I have MOT checking on some things, but didn't see much when I searched.

If you decide to go aftermarket look into kenwood. They use garmin software and its super simple to use, just like a hand held garmin.
I'm sure you can incorporate the factory navi. They pop up on ebay from time to time.

KBB is always way high. NADA puts that truck between 9 and 12 trade-in with a 14 retail.

I have factory nav and would much rather have aftermarket b/c: cost less to replace, better product, and ac/heater controls don't run through them.

These trucks tend to demand a little more money out west. So if you're getting mixed reviews about the price, they're probably right, however for a central or eastern truck, not one out west. Good luck with your search!!

Have you considered pint's 100? I have seen this truck in person and it's a great looking machine.
